How I Can Help

Therapy isn’t one size fits all. People can experience similar problems for very different reasons. My goal is to understand what’s happening in your life, what’s underneath it, and what we can work on together to help you move forward.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationshups difficulties, life transitions, and those who simply feel stuck or know that something in their life needs change.

Anxiety & Overthinking

Anxiety can show up in a lot of different ways. Maybe your mind rarely shuts off. You replay conversations, think through every possible outcome, worry about things that haven’t happened yet, or find yourself asking. “What if?”

Sometimes you know you’re overthinking but still can’t seem to turn it off. Other times, anxiety may show up as irritability, difficulty sleeping, trouble concentrating, or feeling like you’re always waiting for something to go wrong.

In therapy, we’ll work on understanding what’s driving the anxiety rather than simply trying to make the thoughts disappear. We’ll look at patterns underneath it, develop healthier ways to manage uncertainty and stress, and help you feel more in control of how you respond when anxiety shows up.

Depression & Feeling Stuck

Depression doesn't always look like being sad. Sometimes it looks like losing motivation, pulling away from people, going through the motions, or realizing that things you used to enjoy just don’t feel the same anymore.

You may know something needs to change but have a hard time figuring what that change should be or where to start. And the longer you feel struck, the easier it can become to question yourself or wonder why you can’t just “get it together.”

In therapy, we’ll work to understand what may be contributing to where you are now. We’ll look at the thoughts, experiences, relationships, and patterns that may be keeping you stuck while also identifying the strengths you already have to begin moving forward.

Relationships & Life Transitions

Relationships can bring out some of the best parts of us, but they can also bring up patterns, insecurities, expectattions, and emotions we may not completely understand. You may find yourself having the same arguments, struggling to communicate what you need, questioning a relationship, or trying to understand why certain situations affect you as strongly as they do.

Life transitions can create many of those same questions. Changes in relationships, family roles, careers, identity, or simply entering a different stage of life can leave you wondering what comes next.

Therapy can give you space to slow things down and understand what’s happening beneath the surface. We’’ look cat your relationships, experiences, needs, boundaries, and patterns so you can better understand yourslef and make decisions that are ore intentional rather than simp;ly reacting to what’s happening around you.

Personal Growth & Self-Discovery

You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Sometimes you reach a point where you simply want to understand yourself better. You may be questioning what you want, recognizing patterns you’re tired of repeating, or realizing that the life you’ve created doesn't completely fit who you are anymore.

Personal growth often requires looking at more than where you want to go. It also means understanding how you got here. We’ll explore your experiences, relationships, beliefs, strengths, and the parts of yourself that may have developed as ways of adapting to what life has thrown at you.

The goal isn’t for me to tell who you should become. It’s to help you understand yourself more clearly, make more intentional choices, and continue moving toward the person and life you want to create.

Not Sure Where You Fit?

You don’t have to figure that out before reaching out. What brings you to therpay may involve several of these areas, or it may be something we haven’t listed here at all.

We can start the conversation about what’s going on, what you’d like to be different, and whether I may be the right therapist to help.
